For a family in Breda, we have completely renovated and modernized the entire first floor of their home. As the children grew older, the house was due for an update. For the parents, it came down to a choice between moving or renovating: they wisely opted for the latter, as the townhouse held all the potential to be revitalized.

The entire sleeping floor has been redesigned with the goal of creating a comfortable and functional living environment. There needed to be space for a spacious master bedroom with a walk-in closet, a new bathroom, a study, and a laundry room. To achieve the best layout, we developed multiple scenarios. Ultimately, a slightly smaller study proved to be the ideal solution to logically integrate the walk-in closet into the master bedroom. During the design process, we continually paid attention to spatiality and the right proportions, ensuring that every room feels pleasant in size and use.
